Merchandise Assistant (Full Time)
St Andrews Links Golf Shops Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Trust, is looking for a Merchandise Assistant.
Responsibilities include assisting with the purchasing and procurement of goods for future retail sale. The role involves monitoring the replenishment of stock for the five retail stores, including The Old Course Shop, and reordering from suppliers, creating purchase orders, reporting on sales trends and handling enquiries. The assistant will provide administrative support to the Merchandise Manager and work closely with other departments.
Candidates should possess good analytical, communication and IT skills and an excellent eye for detail. Experience of a similar retail role is desirable. A positive, flexible attitude and strong commitment is required.

Trainee Caddie Positions
St. Andrews Links aims to provide the highest level of service to golfers requesting caddie services. It is our aim to provide you with the knowledge and skills to perform on our courses as an experienced licensed caddie after your first season.
There will be a 2 day training course held over the 21st and 22nd April for successful applicants with a view to begin paid work from the 1st May 2012. The cost of the training course is £100.
