Staff at St Andrews Links Trust presented cheques for £500 to each of two local charities today.
The money was raised from a Christmas raffle and was presented to the Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre in Dundee and Fife Society for the Blind.
The cheques were presented by the staff members who nominated the charities. Sandra Docherty, from the Reservations Department, presented a cheque to Tracey Curry of the Maggie’s Centre and technician Colin White presented a cheque to Alan Suttie, chief executive of Fife Society for the Blind at Pilmour House.
“We are pleased to be able to help two such worthy causes,” said Colin. “The money was raised by our Christmas raffle and we do our best to try to support the nominated local charities.”
