Kevin Moore won the Eden Trophy this afternoon and Karen Marshall won the Strathtyrum Trophy for a remarkable fifth time.
Moore, from Douglas (pictured), defeated Mark Yeomans from Millbrook 4 and 2 in the Final on the Eden Course.
In the semi-finals earlier in the day, Yeomans won at the first extra hole against Daniel Bennett from Ashford and Moore advanced thanks to a 3 and 2 victory over Robbie McLeod from Elderslie.
The Strathtyrum Trophy Final was a battle royal between two old rivals. Four time champion Karen Marshall from Baberton faced three-time runner-up Ann Ramsay from Kirriemuir. Ramsay pushed her opponent all the way in a close match but Marshall won at the first extra hole.
Ramsay reached the final after defeating Elaine Clark fom Manchester by 3 and 2. Marshall enjoyed a comfortable 5 and 3 victory against Nicky Wilson from St Regulus.
In the Eden Tankard handicap event, Gary Watt from Cathcart Castle won a very close match on the third extra hole against Paul Greenhalgh from Turton.
Claire Richardson from Burnham Beeches won the Strathtyrum Salver handicap event with a 4 and 2 victory over Pat Rose from the Worcestershire.
