From Wednesday, 7 April the Eden and Strathtyrum courses will both revert to 18 holes. The Strathtryum Course will play as normal but the 14th hole of the Eden Course is still affected by silt left behind by last week's flooding. As a result the 14th will be reduced in length and play as a par three until further notice.
The SGU has confrmed that the temporary SSS of the course will remain at 70 from the white tees and St Andrews Links Trust is awaiting confirmation from the SLGA regarding the SSS from the red tees.
Greenkeepers are working to clear the silt from the fairway and are building up the bank to the right of the 14th fairway to try to prevent flooding in the future.
