Representatives from St Andrews Links social committee took part in a wheelchair presentation to St Andrews resident Helen Sorley at the Links Clubhouse on Friday morning.
Staff at the Links donated £3,000 to Keepers of the Green, a charity which provides wheelchairs to people with mobility difficulties. The money was raised at staff social events and by Ian Donaldson who contributed £640 by completing a 19k run in Edinburgh.
‘I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at St Andrews Links,’ said Helen, ‘The wheelchair is fantastic and has made a huge difference.’
