There will be a strong Angus presence in the finals of the Eden and Strathtyrum trophies on the Eden Course today.
The Eden Trophy final will be contested by Frazer Blyth from Monifieth and Chris Akers from Australia. while Kirriemuir's Ann Ramsay will take on Karen Marshall (pictured) from Baberton in the final of the Strathtyrum Trophy.
Blyth came through his semi-final against Dave Abbott from Bankstown in Australia at the first extra hole. Abbott's clubmate Akers won his semi-final against Tai Yasuda from Pennard more comfortably by 4 and 3.
In the Strathtyrum Trophy, Marshall won by 3 and 2 against Christine Appleby from Preston. While Ramsay overcame Nicola Rawlinson from Royal Birkdale by 3 and 2.
