Staff at St Andrews Links have been doing their bit for charity raising £1200 from raffle proceeds over the winter period.
Three cheques, each for £400, were presented recently by staff members to Palliative Care at St Andrews Community Hospital, Alzheimer Scotland and Keepers of the Green.
Margaret Rabbitt received a cheque on behalf of Palliative Care at St Andrews Community Hospital from Willie Redpath and Sarah Scott of the Links Trust.
Ann Little, Donations Advisor for Alzheimer Scotland, and Julie Penn of Alzheimer Scotland received a cheque from Links Trust staff Willie McLaughlin and Issie Barrett.
Jimmy Bone of the Links Trust accepted a cheque on behalf of Keepers of the Green. The money was donated to their fund for a wheelchair which will be presented at The Open Championship in July.
