Tiger Woods has submitted his official entry for the Open Championship at the Old Course from July 15-18. The world number one has the opportunity to become the first player to win three championships at the Home of Golf having previously won 2000 and 2005.
Tiger Woods made the decision to contend for the Championship despite a neck injury which caused him to withdraw from the Players' Championship earlier this month. Tiger has often talked about his affection for St Andrews Links: 'What can I say, I love St Andrews.'
