Paul Lawrie MBE to launch a major new golf coaching programme for juniors in St Andrews.

St Andrews Links Junior Golf Association is a pilot scheme for Scotland and its first comprehensive golf coaching programme for juniors. It currently has 450 members aged 5-18 years and almost 100 volunteer coaches.

It was recently described as the "Rolls Royce" of coaching schemes in the world by Murray Macklin, an assistant national coach in New Zealand and former chief executive of the Golf Foundation in New Zealand.

The launch is taking place on

Monday 6 May at 11am on the Balgove Course, a children's 9 hole course, at St Andrews Links.
