After taking part several times and reaching the semi finals twice before, Greenock member, Lynda Brabender won the Strathtyrum Tournament. In the final over the Eden Course, Brabender was two down at the turn playing against Fifer Jo Carthew (Ladybank). She fought back to win by 2 and 1.
The winner of the Strathtyrum Salver for the matchplay handicap event was Mary Plunkett (Howth). Former winner, Pam Williamson (Baberton) won the Strathtyrum Quaich for the lowest scratch score in the qualifying rounds. Karen Lobb (Northants County) won the Speir Salver for the lowest net score (handicap) in the qualifying rounds.
