As this was the final event of the season, the Order of Merit Winners were also announced. Daniel Sommerville (16) came first in the Boys with 1518 points and Hannah Harvey (14) won the Girls with 1452 points.
They were presented with their trophies in the Links Clubhouse on Thursday 19 September by the new captain of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club, HRH Prince Andrew.
Daniel, a Madras College pupil and Hannah, from St Leonards School, both live in St Andrews. They each competed in around 20 events over the last five months. They are in Team St Andrews and although it is the end of the season will continue the coaching and training programme with the team over the winter.
"They both played hard and well over the season and deserve to be at the top of the Order of Merit," said John Matheson, Golf Services assistant at St Andrews Links Trust.
