Chief Marshal George Boag, of St Andrews, said: "As ever, we feel privileged to have such a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team of volunteers helping us to provide this essential service for the dunhill links championship. I know that their contribution is valued by everyone connected with this unique golfing tournament, and that every year their sheer professionalism enhances the experience for specatators and players alike.
"Because the volunteers are themselves deeply committed to the sport of golf, I know that their dedication to the task in hand is second to none. I am confident that the team will once again make the 2003 dunhill links championship a truly special event."
