The favourites for this year's Links Trophy are already showing great form in the run-up to the tournament which begins on 9 June. Jamie Moul from Stoke-by-Nayland in Essex, who was the runner-up in last year's St Andrews Links Trophy has just won the Lytham Trophy finishing ahead of Fife's George Murray in a play off. Lloyd Saltman, who won the 2005 Links Trophy in record style and went on to win the Silver Medal at The Open, finished joint third.
The Links Trophy will be held over the New Course and the Old Course, concluding on Sunday, 11 June.
