Seve's St Andrews return?15/10/2009

Seve Ballesteros has expressed his wish to play a round at next year’s Open Championship in St Andrews.

The legendary golfer, who won the 1984 Open on the Old Course, is recovering from brain cancer which has left him partially blinded in his left eye. While he has a long road of recovery in front of him, the three-time Open champion has spoken to the media of his desire to play once again at The Home of Golf. He said, “It’s still a long way before we can make any decisions. I would like to show up at St Andrews this coming year because St Andrews is a very special place."
