Maximising distance and accuracy off the tee
In a driver optimisation session our aim is to maximise the player’s distance and accuracy from the tee. A centre strike will achieve maximum ball speed and for every ball speed there is an optimum launch angle and spin rate for maximum distance.
The objective is to find the ideal combination of loft and shaft which achieves optimum ball flight. The Nakashima Htec system allows us to quickly fit a selection of shafts into clubheads of various lofts. The player test hits each combination and Trackman is used to monitor launch parameters and shot performance.
With this data our equipment specialists can then determine which combination of shaft and loft provides maximum distance and best shot dispersion.
