A free Shuttle Bus service runs between the two clubhouses, the first tee of the Old Course and the Golf Practice Centre in the high season.
This enables golfers, and others, to travel from one side of the Links to the other without having to take a car. This applies particularly to golfers who wish to use St Andrews Links Golf Academy or the Golf Practice Centre before their round on the Old, New or Jubilee courses, or who wish to play a second round on a course on the other side of the Links.
The service is not limited to golfers, it may also be used by people wanting a meal in either clubhouse or to visit the Old Course Shop at the side of the 18th fairway, the Links Clubhouse shop or the shop behind the 18th green of the Old Course.
A restricted service will be in operation this year due to the build programme for the Open Championship.
The bus is currently scheduled to run in the following periods in 2010:
Monday, 29 March to Saturday, 22 May (Stops running for the Open Championship)
Monday, 16 August to Saturday, 2 October (Alfred Dunhill Links Championship)
Monday, 11 October to Saturday, 30 October
Please note that the Shuttle Bus is not in operation on Sundays.
