Self-employed caddies are available for hire. If you wish to request a caddie please fill in and submit the form below.

Caddies at St Andrews will normally work more than one round each day and caddie availability will depend on course conditions and pace of play. Every effort will be made to accommodate your request although caddie availability cannot be guaranteed.

Our caddies are trained to assist in all aspects of enhancing the player's experience. On the course, the caddie will give the player detailed information about the technical aspects of the course strategy as well as locate shots, calculating exact yardage, clean the clubs and golf balls, replace divots and read putts if requested.

Maximum of one bag per caddie
Caddie Rate: £45 per bag.
Trainee Caddie Rate: £25 per bag (available from May to September)
Caddie Gratuity: All gratuities are at the player's discretion. Based on custom and practice, the average tip is £10 - £15

We will try to accommodate all requests although caddie availability cannot be guaranteed
