The Castle Course Clubhouse

The Castle Course Clubhouse was officially opened by HRH The Duke of York in 2008. The striking circular building sits atop Kinkell Ness and offers spectacular views out over St Andrews Bay and the Auld Grey Toun itself. With a wood panelled interior and a central atrium bathed in natural light the clubhouse provides a warm welcome to golfers and visitors. The restaurant features a glass wall allowng diners to gaze out to the north sea as they enjoy their meal. In 2009, the clubhouse received an award in recognition of its outstanding design from St Andrews Preservation Trust.

Bag drop

Golfers arriving at the clubhouse by car can pull round in front of the building to the bag drop area where they will be met by a member of staff who will be happy to help them with their golf bags.

Clubhouse Reception

A warm welcome awaits golfers and visitors at the recption desk. Staff can assist with arranging tee times and information about any of the Links courses and facilities.

The Castle Course Clubhouse Shop

Situated within the stunning Castle Course Clubhouse, the Golf Shop carries a wide range of highest quality ladies and gents knitwear, rainwear and polo shirts. Designed and hand crafted in Italy specifically for St Andrews Links Golf Shops, the knitwear is manufactured from finest mefion wool and the polo shirts are made using mercerised cotton for best fit.

The shop also offers an extensive selection of golf related items such as prints, glassware and golfing accessories. Featuring the exclusive Castle Course logo, these items can only be purchased from the Castle Course shop or on-line at the official St Andrews Links web-site.

Restaurant

With an outstanding setting, the restaurant, which is open to the public, boasts a unique ambience for a quiet meal or a quick bite to eat after the golf. The menu features a range of authentic local cuisine and ever popular favorites for hungry golfers with a breakfast menu available from 7am. View menu.

Halfway House

On the 9th tee we have a telephone where golfers can order refreshments from the Half Way House facility at the clubhouse. Snacks and both soft and alcoholic beverages are available.

Changing facilities

The locker rooms and shower facilities are beautifully equipped with wood panel fittings and spacious interiors and towels are available.

Warm up area

The complimentary warm-up area offers golfers the chance to loosen up before the game. There is also a practice putting green and chipping area..
