Information
Order of Play: The order of play will be prepared week beginning 24 June.
Practice Times: The Eden and New Courses will be available for official practice on Sunday 11 August. Practice times (for competitors only) may be reserved from Monday 1 July by telephoning 01334 466618 / 466713 from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
St Andrews Golf Academy: The driving bays and short game area will be open from 6.00 am - 8.00 pm from Monday 12 - Friday 16 August.
Registration: All competitors are requested to register at the Tournament Office located beside the 1st tee of the Eden Course on Sunday 11 August between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm. If you are unable to register in person, please ‘phone 01334 466725 on Sunday 11 August prior to 2.00 pm to confirm your place in the Tournament.
Handicap Certificate: A current handicap certificate must be produced at Registration.
Barbecue: All competitors are invited to attend a barbecue on Tuesday 13 August at the Eden Clubhouse while the draws for the match play stages are being finalised. Competitors will be issued with a barbecue voucher at Registration. Additional vouchers may be purchased for £17.50 each.
Trolleys: Manually operated wide-wheeled trolleys will be available foc. Alternatively, there is a limited supply of battery powered trolleys (£15) and you may pre-book one from Monday 1 July. Please note they will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
Buggies: Subject to prior approval from the Tournament Committee, the use of buggies will be allowed and may be taken on the New, Eden, Jubilee and Strathtyrum Courses by golfers with a medical certificate. A maximum of two buggies are available for hire on each course and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. They may be reserved when booking a practice round, as from Monday 1 July, subject to presentation of the required medical certificate. The hire fee is £25 per round. All buggies are subject to availability and suitable ground conditions.
Distance Measurement Devices: The use of distance measurement devices will be permitted for the Strathtyrum Tournament 2013. Please note that the device must be limited to measuring distance only.
Caddies: Competitors may use their own caddie or if you wish to request a local caddie, please contact the Caddie Manager on caddiedept@standrews.org.uk (01334 466633).
Late Call-Off Procedure: Please notify the Tournament Officials by Friday 9 August.
