Please contact the caddie manager on 01334 466666 to request a caddie. Caddie charges are payable in cash to the caddie only on satisfactory completion of the round. Tips are entirely at the discretion of the golfer.

Please note: if using a professional caddie, he or she must be licensed by
St Andrews Links Trust.

Trolleys
Battery powered trolleys (£12) or manually operated wide-wheeled trolleys (£4) are allowed on the New, Jubilee, Eden, Strathtyrum, Balgove and Castle courses. They can be hired from the starters and the caddie pavilion.

Trolleys are not permitted on the Old Course in winter. Between April and October they are permitted after noon. If there are no caddies available, trolleys may be hired before 12 noon.

Golf Buggies (Carts)
Old Course
Golfers who are registered disabled with a permanent condition of disability and relevant supporting documentation may request a buggy for use on the Old Course between April and October. It will be driven by a qualified caddie driver. The buggy is provided free of charge but the appropriate caddie fee is payable. Golfer's disability documentation should be provided at the time of booking or when entering the Old Course ballot.

The Castle Course
Golfers who are senior citizens or have a suitable medical certificate may request a buggy for use on the The Castle Course between April and October. It will be driven by a qualified caddie driver. The buggy is provided free of charge but the appropriate caddie fee is payable. The golfer’s request should be made at the time of booking.

Other courses
Buggies may be taken on the New, Jubilee, Strathtyrum and Balgove courses by senior citizens and golfers with a medical certificate, subject to availability. The fee is £18. Please book in advance.

All buggies are subject to availability and suitable ground conditions.

The Eden Course is not considered safe for buggies. No personal buggies are allowed on the Links.
