The Butts
The St Andrews Rifle Volunteers had their shooting ranges
in this area before World War I. Special arrangements had
to be made for golfers when rifle practice took place.
|
|
Tee Shot
A long par 5 with the shortest route hugging the edge of the
left-hand dog-leg.
Index 4/2

Approach
The placing of the second shot is critical. The green is long,
narrow and tiered. The only way to attack the pin is by approaching
it head-on.
