Ayton
The Ayton family have been connected with golf in St Andrews for over 150 years. William Ayton was a founder of the St Andrews Golf Club and David Ayton played a large part in initiating the St Andrews Boys' Open.

Tee Shot
The temptation for the good golfer will be to open the shoulders. However, the further you go down the fairway, the narrower it becomes. There is little advantage to be gained from the extra 20/30 yards.
