Approach
The Road Hole has long been believed by many golfers to be the most famous single hole in the world of golf. It is a very long par 4. The way the green has been laid out, even accomplished golfers should leave themselves a pitch shot looking down the length of the green, rather than risking the notorious Road Bunker or the road itself. To attempt to stop the ball on this green with a long iron is a task only for golfers with low handicaps. The prudent shot is to the front right corner of the green.
