Cartgate
(Out)
Named because it was close to the cart track which crossed
the fairway.

Tee Shot
There is plenty of fairway to the left of the flag before
the Principal's Nose bunker comes into play. A line slightly
to the right of the flag will give you more of a chance of
missing Cartgate bunker in your approach.

Approach
The further right the golf ball is the more open your shot
will be. The further left it is the more Cartgate will come
into play. The 3rd is not a long hole so you invariably be
hitting a lofted club to a green that slopes away from you.
