Seventh course naming contest closes.
The final entries were made by 12 noon today. Thousands of suggestions have been made and all will be considered by the working party charged with making the final decision. The name for the course will be announced in January 2007. We thank all those who took the time and trouble to enter the competition.

The sixth annual Father & Son Tournament will be held 14-19 April 2007. The event will be held on several top quality courses, including the Old Course. More information.
