Following
the Links Management Committee's annual review, new green fees for
the six St Andrews Links courses will come into operation on 1 April
2001.
A single
round on the Old Course in the high season (1 April-31 October 2001)
will be £85 (up from £80). The high season green fees
for the New Course will rise from £40 to £42 (adult)
and from £20 to £21 (under 16s); for the Jubilee Course
the fees will rise from £35 to £37 (adult) and from
£17 to £18 (under 16s); for the Eden Course the fees
will rise from £25 to £28 (adult) and from £12
to £14 (under 16s); for the Strathtyrum the fees will rise
from £17 to £18 (adult) and from £8 to £9
(under 16s). The fees will also rise on the Balgove from £7
to £10 (adult) and from £2 to £3 (under 16s).
"The
new green fees take account of inflation and the cost of our continued
drive to improve the condition of the courses and the standard of
facilities at St Andrews," said Alistair Nicoll, Chairman of
the Links Management Committee.
High season
period tickets for all courses except the Old will rise from £87
to £95 for an adult for three days and from £180 to
£190 for seven days. The Under 16s prices will be £47
(from £43) for three days and £95 (from £90) for
seven days. The prices for high season period tickets for the Balgove
Course only will stay the same ie £18 (adult) and £5
(under 16s) for the three day ticket and £36 (adult) and £10
(under16s) for seven days.
