Links Management Committee chairman re-elected for a fifth term

St Andrews Links Trust have announced that Jim White has been elected Chairman of the Links Management Committee (LMC) for a fifth year.

The LMC is one of two committees which oversee the work of the Links Trust, the charitable body that administers and maintains the world-famous courses at the Home of Golf.

A long-time resident of St Andrews, Mr White joined the LMC in 1998 as a Royal and Ancient Golf Club nominee. He is a former captain of the New Golf Club and is a member of Nairn Golf Club.

The LMC now comprises Jim White (Chairman), Cllr Peter Douglas, Val Johnston, John Mills, Angus Mitchell, Kevin Mullins, Cllr Bill Sangster and Roy Verner.
